Kidheboro is a close-knit village of more than 700 families. Most households live in small one-room mud-hut homes without running water or electricity, and many families are subsistence farmers who live off the land and sell what they can at the local market. Despite limited resources, the community is rich in connection, tradition, and mutual support.
The village elders and local leadership fully support the school and play an important role in encouraging education for all children. Because of the cost of government-mandated school fees, many families cannot afford to send their children to school — making Raven’s Ark a vital source of opportunity and hope.
